3cupscooked chickencut into bite-sized pieces
10.5ouncecan cream of chicken soup
1cupsour cream
½cupmilk
1teaspoongarlic powder
1teaspoononion powder
½teaspoonsalt
½teaspoondried thyme
¼teaspoonblack pepper
1cupshredded cheddar cheese
1sleeve Ritz crackerscrushed, about 1 ½ cups
5tablespoonsunsalted buttermelted
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375°F, and lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish. Set aside.
In a large bowl, mix together the cream of chicken soup, sour cream, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, dried thyme, and pepper until well combined.
Stir in the cooked chicken pieces and shredded cheddar cheese.
Transfer the chicken mixture to the prepared baking dish and spread it out in an even layer.
In a separate bowl, combine the crushed Ritz crackers and melted butter, stirring until the crackers are evenly coated.
Sprinkle the buttered cracker crumbs evenly over the top of the chicken mixture.
Bake the casserole for 25 minutes, or until bubbly and the cracker topping is golden brown.
Remove the casserole from the oven, and let it cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.
